You may or may not have heard about this new fashion subscription service before ... Nadine West. Its a new service that is.....drumroll please...... FREE! Yup, you read that correctly folks... F-R-E-E. Every few weeks, your personal stylist will send out a resealable package with a shirt and some cute corresponding jewelry. Like many others, you only pay for what you keep. Anything else you pop back into the bag and send it back with the prepaid postage they send you with your items. You are under no obligation to buy either so I figured I would give it a whirl and see just what Nadine West is all about.
When you sign up, you take a brief survey to give them a general sense of what your style is and shortly after you get an email telling you to be on the lookout for your first package. It took about 3-4 weeks for mine to get to me. You don't get a shipment notification or tracking number so I was excited and surprised to open my mailbox and find this waiting on me.
First thing I see is a nice little thank you/info card. It details the prices of the items you received and how to go about sending back what doesn't work for you. Also, another thing that I like about this service is you have a 10 day window to send back the items before you are charged, so you have some time to really look at things and figure out what want to purchase. I'm a very indecisive person so I appreciated this longer window of time!!
First up is the black pouch. The cost for this should you want to keep it, is $9.99.
Inside I found an absolutely adorable pair of owl dangle earrings. Very vintage looking and on trend. Owls are everywhere in fashion lately! They are different from anything I own and I really like them!

Next was a larger red pouch. The price on this baggie is $24.99 but that is for the whole bags contents.
I also received this super stretchy turtleneck by C'est Toi. Priced at as $13.49. Although I love the cut and color of this top, it just doesn't work for me. It's got to much of a lycra feel.... it honestly looks like the top of a wetsuit on me. It is not a forgiving fabric to this momma, so I will be returning this as well.
Although I only opted to keep one item, I'm still very impressed with this service. It's risk free and all the items were at a very good price point. The company is just starting out so they have a few kinks to work out but I'm going to keep it up and hope the next one works for me because you cannot beat a free styling service.
(Btw, I'd compare the item quality to that of pieces you would find at wet seal or body central. )
