Shoedazzle has been around for a while now but I haven't ever really checked it out. So now that my absolute favorite pair of Fergie boots have completly worn out (and I mean worn out... like down to the metal pin in the heel. I even did hair in those boots!), I decided to give this site a try!!
Luckily when I signed up they were having a massive sale on boots so I managed to snag 2 pairs that I really liked. Amazingly, I only paid $35 total. I dare you to find a better deal than that!
Shipping was free however they ship via FedEx smartpost and take forever to get here. If you have ever had the misfortune of having anything shipped via Smartpost (popsugar, anyone?) Then I'm sure you can relate.
First up is this drop dead gorgeous pair of over the knee boots by Leila Stone. . I mean, just look at them! The two tone camel color is phenomenal and I love the subtle contrast. Not to mention the croco embossed detailing. I wasn't really expecting to get such high quality boots for only $20, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are sturdy, comfortable to walk in, and the soles are well made.
My absolute only complaint is the strap in the back. It doesn't tighten enough to keep the boots snugly in place. I this little fault makes the over the knee piece stick out on my legs and makes me look a bit to wonderwoman-ish. Thank, I easily folded this piece in and the look perfect that way. I also got so many compliments on them the very first time I wore them out!!
I also found these platform booties by Scene. . Now I wasn't going to get any other shoes but when I saw these in my showroom for only $15 I had to get them.
These boots are not for novices! If you aren't used to crazy high heels you need to stay clear. Otherwise you may end up like me when I was 13... fell in my heels and gave myself a black eye... yes... that actually happened. I cried... it was awful.
Anyways, how freaking awesome are these?! Platform sole, mega high stiletto heel, and multiple gold buckles at the ankle. These are possibly my favorite pair of booties ever! Only con on these is they run a tad large. So if you get some for yourself, I recommend sizing a half size down.
I'm really impressed with Shoedazzle! Awesome styles, great selection and quality. And prices that are a shoe lovers best friend. Be sure to check them out! You won't be disappointed!
