I'm the kind of girl that loves anything unique. I have always been drawn to things with a personal story. In a world of conformity and mass production, it's getting harder and harder to find those special unique pieces that I love so much. That, my dolls, is why I am obsessed with artisan/independent subscription services.
I've tried my fair share of said boxes, and I have to say this one is my favorite one. I am talking, of course, about the Indie Gift Box.
Every month, you will receive a curated, themed box full of amazing handmade surprises! The cost is $25 per box or $24.50 per month (plus $5 s+h). You can make one time purchases or you can go with a monthly subscription. I'm telling you though, these boxes are only available in limited supply so I suggest going with the subscription option!
Such a small unassuming little box, isn't it? You think 'there can't possibly be anything in this thing' but, my dolls, you would be oh so very wrong.
The care that goes into packaging the items is very apparent. Everything is placed perfectly and packaged tightly so it stays that way.

Gothic Gala Lacquers in 'Sprinkled with Passion' - $8 ---- I'm a nail polish addict and freely admit it. This color is exclusive to Indie Gift Box and it's completely gorgeous! A light icy blue with the absolute perfect amount of sparkle. I love how long the brush handle is too. And the formula....wow! Never in a million years would I have thought a handmade nail polish would be this good. It's a smoothly applying formula that dries quickly and is long lasting.
Plastique alternative diamond stud earrings - $12 ---- Love these!! They are simple but different, and completly my style. They are a super shiny black color that goes perfect with just about anything and everything I own.
Purely Paige wine charms - $24 ---- Sterling silver and crystal wine charms with a custom inscription for us Indie Mavens! These are too cute and would make a beautiful little hostess gift!
Tulips Apothecary POPS! Champagne scented lip gloss - $10 ---- I'm a sucker for anything in its own little tin. This is a very sizable tin with a smooth glassy lip tint. Its light on your lips and doesn't have any stickiness to it whatsoever. Handmade beauty products can be great or horrible and I'm glad to say this is a great one!
Duchessa set of two bracelets - $12 ---- This is a past artist bonus from a previous box. These are so dainty and pretty. Czech glass and silver plated accents. Another great jewelery item that is perfectly me. I love love LOVE these!!!
All totalled up, this month's box has a value of $66, more than double the cost!! Maybe it's just me but I think that's pretty phenomenal for an artisan box. Other handmade boxes should take note.... This is how it's done. Value and quality... not one random object in the box. Everything is gorgeous and perfectly ties into the theme.
Next months box theme is 'Rainbow Bright' and it will be available for purchase on June 6 (the day before my birthday! Yay! And hint hint). So mark your calendar and make sure you get one while you can.... remember, there are a limited number available.
