Well I wasn't even expecting this but my Ipsy Glam Bag arrived today! I never got a shipment email this time around, but that made it even better because I didn't know it was in route! Yay for surprises!
If you don't already know, Ipsy is a monthly subscription service. For $10 a month, you'll receive 4-5 beauty deluxe sample sized and often full sized, beauty products and a limited edition makeup bag. The value of the items you receive is always pretty phenomenal considering it's one of the most affordable subscriptions around. It's my most recommend sub as well!
This month's theme is Sensationally Sunkissed. A theme that is very apparent by the bag this month. I really hated this 'pool float-ish' design at first but I'm headed to the lake this weekend and this is the perfect material to keep my essentials in on the boat!
I managed to be a good girl this month and not be tempted to look at my Glam room so I was spoiler free for once! That will probably never happen again... I'm just so impatient!
Models Own nail polish in ''Red Sea' ---This is a new brand for me and I wasn't to excited about it at first. I'm not a huge fan of glitter polish and the reviews on Ipsy weren't to phenomenal. However, I actually really liked it. It's to sheer for me as a base coat but if you use it as a top coat over a complimentary base color, it's really very pretty! I loved the different sizes of glitter mixed in. I do warn you, however, that it's a bit on the thick side so don't overdo it!
Elizabeth Mott Tints & Sass cheek and lip stain --- I'm a huge Elizabeth Mott fan so I got really excited about this. I honestly have zero liquid stains.... how is that even possible? Ha. This is a very bright red for me so I'll have to play around with it a bit to avoid looking like a clown but the quality is (of course) really nice.
Pur~lisse protective moisturizer spf 30 --- OK, I know it's not Ipsy 's fault but I'm getting really burned out on SPF... haha... 'burned out'....... Anyway, I love this brand and it's a good product so I'm cool with it
bareMinerals 5-in-1 BB Cream Eyeshadow --- Another brand I love! I'm not usually into cream eyeshadow but this stuff is nothing short of amazing. It's not sticky and doesn't crease and the longevity is crazy. I swear. All day working in the yard today and it didn't wear off!
Marrakesh Endz leave in treatment --- anything that helps my ends is a great product by me. I've got fine hair so I can't use a huge amount but it did keep my ends from looking so ratty after I blew my hair dry. I'm telling ya'll, Being a cosmetologist is dangerous. .. slow day at the salons always ended with me saying 'I'm bored, let's change my hair color again!'....
Although the bag design is not my absolute favorite one evet, I do love LOVE all my products this month. I've been really lucky with my Ipsy bags lately and I just hope it stays that way.
