July 2014 Treatsie Review + Free Box Offer!

My July Treatsie box arrived today and I swear I think my mouth started watering as soon as i saw the address label.  They ship from a town not far from me so it usually takes less than 24 hours to get here,  which is awesome!

Don't know what Treatsie is? Well, you're about to find out!
Treatsie is a monthly Artisan sweets subscription service.  The cost is $14.99 per month plus $4.95 shipping.   Every box has a curated selection of delectable goodies you more than likely would never have found on your own. This is my second box from Treatsie and it is very quickly climbing to the top of my favorites list!

If you're curious about Treatsie and want to try them out, you can follow this link and get your first box free! You have to pay the $4.95 shipping cost but that's extremely justified. They ship via FedEx in a thick Insulated package with a cold pack tucked inside to avoid your goodies melting!!

First look.... Excuse me while i get really southern and say 'oh ma gawd'........ yup... I said it....

                                     Shotwell Candy Co

'Old Fashioned' cocktail Caramels - $3.50 --- A mild and delicious flavor.  It's perfect consistency too. Not one of those Caramels that's so hard and chewy it'll pull out a filling! Had that happen before... (curse you laffy taffy!)

Hand Crushed Espresso Caramels - $3.50 --- There isn't a word to adequately describe how absolutely amazing these are. Seriously. ... This is one of the best Caramels I have ever eaten in my life.. I need more....NOW!!

Raley's  Confectionery Treatsie Variety Mix - $6 --- This is another unbelievably yummy treat. My grandmother loved these kinds of candy and I loved when she had them in a glass jar on her countertop. These are amazing.  Probably the best hard candy I've had in a very long time. And it brought back some very cherished memories too!

                                    Seattle Chocolates

Milk Chocolate Truffle Bar - $3.50 --- absolute creamy melt in your mouth perfection.

Dark Chocolate Truffle Bar - $3.50 --- I'm very particular about my dark chocolate and this is divine!  It's rich but not to bitter and once you have a bite, you won't stop till it's gone!

Total Toffee Truffle Bar - $3.50 --- I love toffee but generally they kill my teeth. These, however, do not. It's tiny perfect bits of toffee melted into the chocolate and it is pretty amazing!

This box comes to a total value of $23.50. It's not a high value but it's not really supposed to be. It's about discovering and savoring new carefully crafted sweets that are made with care as apposed to the tons of mechanically made mass produced items. This box is really a shining example of a product that's made with love.

Don't forget, if you'd like to subscribe to Treatsie,  your first box is free when you sign up using this link.
