There's something about getting that pink box in my mail that just gets me giddy. What is this box, you ask? I am, of course, talking about the subscription that started my box obsession... Birchbox!
You probably already know all about Birchbox, but here's a quick rundown just in case! Birchbox is a beauty subscription service. For $10.00 per month, you'll receive a box with 4-6 beauty products. Most often the sizes of the samples are deluxe size but every once in a while you luck out and get a full size product as well.
This month's box is just gorgeous, playing off the September theme, Fresh Paint. Summer is out and fall is in, bringing new outlooks, trends and colors with it.
I'll admit that i took a little glance at my account this month so I knew what was inside. I have gotten so many super fabulous boxes lately so I was a touch underwhelmed by my first look.
Juara Candlenut Body Cream --- one, I have never heard of Candlenut. ..... what the crap is ir? Second, I love this stuff. I thought it was a lotion at first but apparently, you use it on a loofah or washcloth. It smells wonderful and gives your skin s serious dose of hydration!
Whish Acai Grapefruit Shave Crave --- I love new shaving creams but this one isn't doing it for me. While it moisturizes quite well, it doesn't have any lather and I need to see what spots I've gone over. That's just me being weird though.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum --- I like most Caudalie products I've sampled before and while the size of this is super tiny, I do like it. Oil free and evens out your skintone.
Noir Cosmetics Long - Wear Eyeliner --- I loooove this! I can't ever have enough eyeliner. This is extremely smooth and smudges without issue. Stays put all day and it's vitamin E enriched!
Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner --- If you've read my blog enough, you know how crazy I am about Dr. Brandt products! I haven't ever tried this product before so when I saw it was a mask I hot really excited. It cleans deeply into the pores for fewer blackheads and smoother skin. This is going to be a must buy product for me!
Birchbox Find! Chapstick Hydration Lock --- I love when they include these! This is a dual ended day and night lip balm that keeps moisture in those smackers! Perfect for fall and winter chapped lips!
While it wasn't my favorite box ever, I'm still really pleased with it. I adore the Noir eyeliner especially! I'm always so impressed with the variety of my samples and although they are smaller than many other subscription box samples, it's a wider range of products. So fun to try new goodies from unfamiliar brands!
