September 2014 Blue Velveteen Review

Ohmygod, ohmygod, ohmygod....  OMG! It's here! It's finally here! Ok... deep breath. .. must calm down.... I'm just so excited though!

My darling dolls,  I give you the much awaited,  much anticipated debut box for Blue Velveteen!

If you are unaware, Blue Velveteen is a brand new beauty subscription service.  The cost is $10 per month and the box is packed with amazing beauty products! I've been eagerly anticipating this boxes arrival since I signed up for its prerelease a few weeks ago. A debut box is always a treat but this gorgeous little pink box made one heck of a first impression. It's so pretty!

Ohhhh... I'm already in love!!

Ciate mini paint pot in 'Risky Business' --- Ciate is one of my favorite polish brands and this color is absolutely beautiful.  It's got sparkle like crazy and I loooove it!

Macadamia Natural Oil Leave in creme --- This isn't a brand I'm familiar with but I will definitely be giving it a shot. Mt hair needs some nourishing, for sure!

NYX Sheer Gloss in 'Shangri-la' --- I love the NYX brand already and this gloss is no exception. It's a high sheen, not overly sticky formula that adds just a little hint of color. It tastes yummy too!

Annick Goutal 'Passion' --- The only item in the box I didn't care for. It's a nice size but far to strong and overwhelming scent for my personal tastes.

Sexy Hair Lavender & Chamomile Calming Body Wash --- The size of this is really great so you can get quite a bit of use out of it. It smells divine but most of the Sexy Hair products do!!

NYX ultra Pearl Mania in 'orange pearl' --- I don't usually like loose eyeshadow but I can actually use this one. It's a very intense shimmer and perfect for highlighting the inner eye and brow.

Blue Hair Tie --- Just a pretty little hair tie. I can always use more of those!

Blue Velveteen has really delivered with their debut box! I'm impressed with how high quality the contents are since it's a relatively inexpensive subscription service.  Their packaging is superb but I would like to see an information card included in future boxes. Aside from that tiny bit,  I have nothing but good things to say! I'm excited to see this subscription box grow because they've made an excellent first impression!
