October 2014 Birchbox Review

Any day that I see the 'Out For Delivery' status on a package I get happy... but that joy always increases when the box in question is the subscription that started me on my journey down the beauty blogger road. Yup... I'm talking about the October 2014 Birchbox!

If by some chance you don't already know, Birchbox is a monthly beauty subscription service. It's often billed as the box that started the subscription crazy and for $10 a month, it still holds a place as one of my favorite monthly subs! Every month you'll receive 5-6 new beauty samples (and occasionally a full size as well!) And while the sizes sometimes leave you a bit underwhelmed, the sheer variety more than makes up for it in my book!

As always, each month brings a new theme and this time it's 'Fanfare'. It's the fall season and you know what that means. Whether it's a returning TV show or the seasons new fashions, we all have a bit of a fan obsession with something and Birchbox is sharing their passion with us in the form of fantastic products to make us feel and look amazing! (I find this theme especially fitting because I'm currently in fangirl mode over the American Horror Story FreakShow premire! )

I always have such a positive first look with Birchbox!

Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle --- I'm a fan of the Beauty Protector line already so I knew it was going to be a product I loved even before I tried it out. It smells amazing and provides a shine boost as well as color and thermal protection to your locks!

LuMESH Hydrating Lip Gloss --- Cute packaging and I love testing new beauty lines but wow this is tiny! I do love the ultra sheer hint of color and that refreshing tingle feeling though so I can forgive the tiny size!

Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser --- As a girl with seriously oily skin, I adore a good cleanser. I haven't tried anything from this brand before and the concept of a foaming scrub was a bit odd to me. However, as soon as i took a whiff of this luxurious lemony citrus scent I was in love!

Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Eyeshadow Palette Set --- I like Costal Scents but I will admit I'm not a die hard fan of their pallettes, however I do really love the subtle way these neutral colors shimmer and shine and they have a decent wear time too.

TOCCA Crema Da Mano --- YAY!!!! I wanted this so bad and I'm so very happy I received it! TOCCA hand creams are a huge favorite for me. It's a rich and super moisturizing formula and I love the green tea and lemon scent!

Another pretty fabulous Birchbox for me. I know I see so many people express a dislike for theirs every month but fortunately I have never been one of those. It's a discovery service and I've managed to stumble on quite a few must haves with every single box I receive! Here's hoping next month is just as fabulous!
