April 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Oh crazy life.... Why must you run me ragged?

Before I start, I'd like to apologize for the radio silence these past two weeks. Life in my house has been so busy I've barely had enough time to breathe. And then I smashed my phone in my car door,,, so yeah. Anywho, things have settled down a bit now and what better way to kick things off than the April 2015 Ipsy Glam Bag review!

For those who don't already know, Ipsy is a $10 monthly beauty subscription service. Each month subscribers will receive 5 deluxe sample sized (and very often full size) beauty products all tucked neatly into a limited edition makeup bag. Ipsy was the second beauty subscription I ever purchased and after nearly two years, it's still one of my favorites.

Can we just talk about this bag for a moment? I don't always love my makeup bag every month but I think I have to put this as my favorite one to date. It's a fantastic size and the design is just gorgeous. Yay! This has already made me happy and I haven't even made it to the actual products yet.

Each months Glam bag design and curation revolves around a theme. This months is 'Beautifully Bohemian'. A perfect choice for April!

Hey Honey Good Morning - Honey Silk Facial --- This has everything I look for in a serum: Great smell, lightweight and leaves my skin smooth and silky. Definitely a new favorite!

Hikari Cosmetics Blush in 'Mango' --- First, I love this brand and love the simple but beautiful packaging. It just looks sleek and higher end, in my opinion. And it's full size too! I always bust out the happy dance for that and the fact that it's a brand I adore makes it even better. The color (which I will admit had me a little worried at first) is gorgeous when applied and blends very easily.

Aromachology Sophisticated & Sensual Perfume --- Rollerball perfumes seem to be making a comback which makes me happy because they are great to throw in your purse. The scent is a bit to overwhelming to me though. It reminds me off the perfume my grandma used to wear, just not my taste!

theBalm Cosmetics NUDE Dude Eyeshadow Single in 'Flirty'--- I saw the early access spoiler on this one and got very excited. theBalm products are really wonderful and they have the cutest packaging (because, let's be honest, who wants to look at ugly packaging?) I like the color too.

Starlooks Satin Finish Lip Gloss in 'Cuddle' --- Admittedly, I'm not the biggest fan of the Starlooka brand. While this gloss isn't actually that bad, I still don't love it.

I was really really pleased with my Ipsy bag this month. It's been some time since I've felt this much love for my products and I hope they can keep this up! Ipsy really is a tremendous value and will forever be cemented in my top ten favorite subscriptions!
