May 2015 Adore Box Review

I'm always excited when I get asked to review a box I've never tried before, especially when there is makeup involved, so I couldn't wait to receive the May 2015 Adore Beauty Box!

Adore Box, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a monthly subscription service. The cost is $15 per month and  contains "4-7 carefully hand selected items. These items may include: Makeup, Hair Care, Skin Care, Jewelry, Sweets, Accessories, and/or Housewares. These items may be sample, full size or a combination of both. ".

Adore Box is fairly new to the subscription world and I think the presentation could use a bit of an upgrade but that's pretty common in newer boxes and no biggie.

Each biox includes a little note listing the items and what the full size retails for.

Make up For ever Aqua Cream --- This was the big ticket item in the box. I love this brand. I probably wouldn't ever buy this shade for myself but I actually ended up liking it! It's such a smooth and seamless shadow and the staying power is one of the best I've ever seen.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in 'Little Black Dress' --- Aothet higher value product. This one is vegan and cruelty free too! I'm not a huge fan of the color but it's great for when I want to add a little edge to my nighttime look.

Milton Brown London Luxury Ultra Pure Milk Soap --- triple milled and protein rich whole milk. It smells heavenly and leaves your skin nourished and soft!

Annie's Homegrown Organic Fruit Snacks --- I'd love to tell you these were delicious but my child ate them before I could! However, they do get his seal of approval!

Barney Kenet ProVitamin Shampoo --- this brand is new to me so I was excited to try this. It lathers well and leaves my hair soft and bouncy.

Algenist Genius Ultimate Anti-Aging Vitamin C Serum --- I haven't had the opportunity to try this out yet but I should be able to squeeze a couple of uses out of it.

Considering that one of the items is worth more than the cost of the box itself, I'd say this months Adore Box was a great value! I loved the mix of products and brands featured and I can't wait to see how this subscription grows and evolves in the future!
