May 2015 Birchbox Review

What? More May reviews? Yes, I know. May was a busy month as June is proving to be as well. Between baseball, graduations, field trips, and weekend outings, my life has been a tad hectic. But here I am with the May 2015 Birchbox review.

If you've somehow forgotten, Birchbox is the subscription box that started it all. Not just for me, but for most of us subscription box addicts. The cost is just $10 per month and you'll receive 4-6 deluxe sample sized (and occasionally full size too!) beauty products tailored to your beauty profile. While it's not always the most fabulous of the fabulous, 9/10 times, Birchbox makes me super happy and honestly, it's still one of my favorite boxes to receive.

The May box was all about 'Cupcakes & Cashmere". That was probably the first blog I ever really got into so I got very excited over this particular box.

An impressive first look!

W3LL People Expressionist Bio Extreme Mascara --- I'll be perfectly honest here. I'm not a big fan of this mascara. It's a great size sample, but it doesn't give me the impact I like with my lashes.

Naobay Oxygenating Cream Moisturizer--- I've received Naobay products in a past Birchbox and loved them. I love the scent  of this one it's made with avocado and olive oils and is 98% natural. Love love!

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water --- Give me anything from Smashbox and I'm a very happy girl. I already use the primer gel and I love this just as much. Just a spritz of the electrolyte infused baby and you get a revitalized look that both preps and sets your makeup.

English Laundry 'Notting Hill Femme' Perfume --- I'm extremely picky when it comes to perfume and I'm honestly not quite sure if I love or hate this one. It has notes of bergamot, lemon. Peppercorn and wood... An odd combination for me but not unpleasant..

Living Proof Restore Instant Repair --- first, the size of this sample is pretty fabulous. I love that it isn't greasy or heavy either. Just a bit and your on the way to smoother and healthier hair!

As a little bonus to go along with the repair cream, I also received a sample of the restore and repair shampoo and conditioner.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the goodies in my May Birchbox  There were some fabulous brands and sample sizes this time around and you won't ever find me complaining about that!

Love your Birchbox? Tell us about it!
