August 2015 Festy Box Review

There are a lot of things I love in life - family, music, food, art - so I enjoy things that roll all of these things into one. One of those activities sits at the top of that list: festivals. Be it a small town yearly one or a big one (Memphis in May! Whoot Whoot!), the all manage to incorporate my personal favorites. This month, I'm trying out something that brings the festival lifestyle to you... Say hello to Festy Box!

Festy Box, who very kindly sent me this box for review, is a Music Festival monthly subscription service that delivers quality festival accessories, apparel, and exclusive artwork to your door. From jewelry to snack foods, clothing, art and everything in between, if it's something that pertains to the festival lifestyle, you might just find it in the box. There are 3 subscription options to choose from: Tier 1 ($10.00 per month + $3 shipping), Tier 2 ($20.00 per month + $5 shipping), or Tier 3 ($35.00 per month + $5 shipping). This review is for the Tier 3 option.

Each month features a new artist and theme. August's box theme is 'Relax' and features items to help you focus on recharging your mind and body. This months box also highlights the work of Drake Arnold, a Colorado based artist who you can often find live painting at music festivals and other events.

I was quite pleasantly surprised by the amount of merchandise that Festy Box included. It's pretty impressive!

The yellow envelope or 'Slap Pack' (which is included each month) held these 6 stickers. I love how large the are  and they are really high quality as well.

These 2 prints feature the work of Drake Arnold and are gorgeous. His work is quite different and quirky. I may have to use these to add some flair to my office.

A bear claw back scratcher with a telescopic extension. It's funny but practical. Seriously, if your out by yourself at a festival and your back itches, do you want to ask a stranger to take care of that for you? Me thinks not...

Exclusive Festy Box hat pins are included in each subscription but this one includes 3 of them. They are heavy and the quality is exceptional. The top two feature the work of August's feature artist while the bottom on is from Vest Designs.

Another item to help you relax and recharge (like, say, after a day or night of festival life). They featured an assortment of Yogi Teas, but the two I received are 'Bedtime' and 'Stress Relief'. Yummy!

I couldn't get a great shot due to the sheer size of it, but how awesome is this? It's a massive microfiber towel featuring a print from Drake Arnold. It's great quality and so soft. Microfiber is a super absorbent material so this is great to dry off with or spread out on the grass to watch your favorite artists perform.

All in all, I thought this was a very fun and interesting box. Even if you aren't a hardcore Festival person, you may still enjoy the beauty of the art featured on the items within. Festy Box is truly unique in all the right ways!
