October 2015 Allure Beauty Box Review

It's coming to the point that I think I could open up my own Sephora in my bedroom. Yup, that's how much makeup I have. Luckily I have several teenage nieces (hi girlies!) that reap the benefits of my massive beauty stockpile. Cosmetics and skincare are my addiction and the October Allure Beauty Box is finally here to add a few more items to my collection!

If you aren't familiar, Allure Beauty Box is a monthly subscription featuring the best in beauty. The cost is fantastic at only $15.00 per month and Subscribers can expect at least five deluxe-size product samples from major brands and innovative newcomers that the Allure editors deem the best of the best.

Each month, instead of a simple information card, Allure includes a beautiful mini magazine with gorgeous photos, product info and why the editors chose each item.

Like most subscriptions, each month is curated around a particular theme. The October box is all about New Habits and it includes items to help you break out of your usual beauty routine and try some fresh, life changing products.

This is packed and I am super excited! I already see a couple of my favorite brands!

Bumble and Bumble All-Style Blow Dry Cream --- I have been a huge fan of Bumble and Bumble for years now. This lightweight styling cream fights frizz, protects against heat damage, and extends the life of your blowout!

Jouer Daily Clarifying Treatment Oil --- yay for Jouer! This baby is a dry, light oil that aids in preventing acne. It locks in moisture, kills acne causing bacteria and helps to reduce redness.

Rituals Ginkgo's Secret Ginseng & Ginkgo Biloba Hand Balm --- Rituals is another brand I'm familiar with and love. This stuff smells fantastic and is a thick, super rich lotion that hydrates and heals dry, cracked skin. It's completely phenomenal!

Cargo Eye Shadow in OZ --- Yes, the color is a bit unnerving at first glance but it isn't  crazy wild when applied. It's a wonderfully silky formula that's easy to build on and blends well.

Red Flower Lymphatic Phytopower Sea Cleanser and Masque --- I received this in another box a month or so ago but I really couldn't form much of an opinion on it. It's a cream cleanser that removes dirt and doubles as a mask to plump up fine lines. It's a bit to much on my skin, sadly.

Kryolan Lipstick Matt in Aurora, Eos and Nike --- Woah those are bright! These opaque shades are intensely pigmented and have a matte formula without caking or drying.

Overal, I think this was a great box with a great mix of product. That's one reason I love Allure so much, they include such a wide range of items and they are always a fantastic sample size. Can't wait for November's box!
