January 2016 GardenBox Subscription Review

I love living in the country, The peace and quiet, the air, it's really pretty magical. Beautiful as it is, t suck at turning all the wide open space into anything even remotely resembling a garden. This is such a shame because I do love using fresh ingredients when I cook. Thankfully, I may have found the solution to my non green thumb - GreenTowersUSA GardenBox!

GardenBox, who very kindly sent me this box for review, is a monthly subscription service that delivers pre-planted artisanal micro greens to your doorstep. The cost is $35 per month and includes 2 trays of micro herbs and greens that are ready to harvest and enjoy in about 2 weeks.

Your GardenBox arrives in a large box containing two trays of vacuum sealed micro greens. All you have to do is add some water! It's super simple!

This tray contains Mustard Greens. Mustard Greens have red leaves with a light green stem and a mildly spicy flavor.

This tray features a green I have never used called Tatsoi. They have green, spoon shaped leaves with a tangy and peppery flavor.

After just a few days, your greens will begin to grow right before your eyes. It's really amazing how rapidly these sprout up. It seems like they are larger each time you glance at them!

Each tray also comes with a fabulous recipe that will really highlight the flavor of the greens you've grown. These look so delicious!

In 7-10 days, your micro-greens are ready to harvest and enjoy! The quality and simplicity of my GardenBox really surprised me! A little water and light and you've got fresh, artisanal greens that add a great punch of healthy flavor to your meals. Easy, fulfilling and oh so delicious!
