If you haven't yet figured out how much I love food, then allow me to Enlighten you now. Ahem .... I love food. I'm not ashamed to admit it, as you can clearly see. I snack constantly and I love to cook and experiment with flavors and test out new goodies. I decided to expand my flavor horizons further and test a new (new to me, anyway) snack subscription box - Yummy Bazaar!
If you don't already know, Yummy Bazaar is a monthly subscription box featuring international foods. There are two subscription options to choose from: the Sampler box (which is featured in this review) is $9.99 per month and includes a selection of goodies from all over the world. Also available is the Full Experience Box which costs $35.95 per month and includes full sized products from the months featured country
This is the first time I've tested out a box from Yummy Bazaar so I was really curious to see what delicious goodies were inside.
There is a really nicely detailed information sheet included that tell you all about the products featured in your box and what country they are from.
Gran Pavesi Tomato & Cheese Crackers --- Italian snack crackers full of flavor and infused with Grana Padano cheese. I absolutely loved these!
Kikusendo Rolled Wafers with Sesame & Jin Jin Lychee Coconut Jelly --- These rolled wafer cookies from Japan are coated in sesame seeds and are a really light and delicious on the go snack.
The Lychee Coconut jelly from Taiwan is unique and fruity. Personally, I was not a huge fan of this one!
Mulino Bianco Baiocchi Cookies --- A favorite in Italy. Not overly sweet, these little bite sized biscuits are filled with an incredibly delicious chocolate hazelnut cream. My son devoured them!
Revillon Chocolatier Chocolate Papillotes & Societe Industrielle De Confiserie Violet Mints --- Both of these products hail from France. I've tried these Papillotes before and holy cow are they delicious! And I really like the tin these little mints are packaged in but I'm not a fan of anything licorice flavored!
Hidden Springs Pure Maple Candy Fancies & Chiquilin Powdered Saffron --- How fun are the shapes on the maple candy? Made in the US, these creamy maple candies are made from 100% pure syrup from Vermont. All natural with no artificial additives or preservatives.
The Saffron powder hails from Spain and is the key ingredient in many Dishes from all over the globe.
I really really enjoyed this box. It was a great variety of products from across the world. I like all the different types of flavors and it's well worth the $9.99 monthly cost. I look forward to sampling more in the March box!
