Summer 2016 Walmart Beauty Box Review

Has anyone else noticed how ridiculously amazing the packaging of drugstore beauty products has been lately? It blow my mind. We all know that the quality of the actual product is what really matters but holy crap, when I see a $3 lipstick in a gorgeous high end looking package, I just have no willpower. They just look so nice! But that's the joy of affordable beauty products like the ones featured in the Summer Walmart Beauty Box. The prices are low so you can buy and try what you want without taking a chunk out of your bank account.

If you aren't familiar, Walmart Beauty is a quarterly subscription service that delivers sample and occasionally full sized beauty products to your door. It's extremely affordable at only $5 per quarter (the box itself is advertised as free do the cost is just for shipping really) and it's a great way to discover new, mass market products.

I know there is always some variation with these boxes, but I'm really happy with what I see so far. There are a couple repeat offenders in here but when it comes to my Walmart box, I don't mind at all.

Incoco Nail Wraps --- Yeah, so, I'd pay $5 for this any day so this right here just made the box worth it already. I love this fun pattern and I can't wait to try them out.

Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Toothpaste --- Who doesn't need toothpaste? Arm and Hammer is one of my favorite brands when it comes to dental care and this is a perfect size to toss in my travel bag for this weekend!

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs --- This is probably the only product I won't use. I am, for lack of a better term, super white. My eldest brother soaked up all the natural olive skin Italian genes and I as the baby, got none of it. I wish I could use this, but it just doesn't look right on me!

Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Shampoo & Conditioner --- Schwarzkopf is a fantastic professional brand and while I have used their color line in the past, I don't think I ever used their shampoo when I worked in the salon. I really like it though! It's a great color safe set and works to increase the color and radiance of the hair. It smells nice as well!

Goody Slideproof Elastics --- These are a repeat item for me and I love love love them! I lose so many ponytail holders and I always need more. These are fantastic and the little silicone grips keep my hair firmly in place all day long.

Jergens Natural Glow --- Now this I can use, and have been using off and on for the last couple of years. It's extremely moisturizing and gives you the slightest hint of natural looking color that builds up gradually over time. No orange, streaky messes here!

Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash --- Another repeat item but I don't mind. I love Aveeno products and how gentle they are. It's the one brand of body wash I don't worry about my son getting into because it is so easy on sensitive skin.

I can't rave enough about these Walmart boxes. The amount of product they include in this $5 box is pretty phenomenal. This is one of my favorite boxes to date and they only seem to get better and better each season!
