I go though phases when it comes to food. Lately, the only thing I want to eat is fried eggs and toast. My son hates them and groans whenever I make some for myself, but I can't help it. It's just so good! Perhaps the items in my Degustabox will yield a new food obsession for me and mix up my cravings.
Degustabox, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a culinary subscription service. The cost is $19.95 per month (which is awesome) and each box will include a mix of 10-15 surprise goodies. They are based out of Barcelona but this is the first box available in the USA. How exciting!
Already looking delicious! And this box is giant and heavy! There are just layers and layers of goodies in here!
The first things I saw were a few coupons and a nice letter to welcome you to your subscription.
Inside is a very well done information sheet that gives you all the details on the products featured in your box.
The back of the information sheet has a few very yummy sounding recipes.
Elmhurst Harvest Chocolate Almond Milk --- This is actually quite good! This milk alternative is made with real almonds and is vitiman fortified. I like it!
Orchard Valley Harvest --- One package of cashews and one pack Cranberry Almond Cashew mix. These are both equally yummy but the mix with the cranberries is my favorite!
Jif Cinnamon Peanut Butter --- I had no idea that they made cinnamon peanut butter but I'm addicted now! The smooth and creamy peanut butter with a hint of cinnamon is perfect on my toast in the morning!
Soy Vay Teriyaki Sauce --- I love a nice bold flavor like this. It's made with no preservatives and no additives and is an awesome sauce or marinade.
Topo Chico Mineral Water --- The featured product of the month, my husband was thrilled with these. One bottle is unflavored and one is. They've been bottling this from the source since 1895 and they are fabulous!
Wise Popcorn --- I got really excited about these. They are both lightly air-popped, packed with whole grains and gluten free. The sea salt ones are my favorite but I wasn't to keen on the Cinnabon flavor.
Haribo Sour Gold Bears --- Who doesn't love gummy bears, especially when they are sour!? Obviously these taste fantastic and I love that the bag is resealable.
Brianna's Italian Vinaigrette --- My favorite type of dressing. In addition to Vineger and oil, this also contains chopped olives, rich Romano cheese, Rosemary and basil. It's awesome!
Honees Cough Drops --- If it has honey, I'm going to automatically love it. These are all natural and filled with liquid honey to soothe. It also cools nasal passages with essential oils of peppermint, eucalyptus, and lemon.
Vita Coco Coconut Oil --- Remember how I love fried eggs? Yeah, well I now love fried eggs cooked in coconut oil. This stuff is so freaking delicious! It's 100% organic, virgin, cold-pressed and unrefined. It's truly awesome because not only can you cook with it, it's also fantastic for your skin and hair.
So much food! It's overwhelming, in a very good way. I wasn't expecting the quantity and the fabulous variety that this box yielded, especially considering how affordable it is! Degustabox may be one of my favorite foodie subscription boxes ever!
