September 2016 BookCase.Club Review & Coupon

Remember when you were a kid and would get so excited about the school book fair? I loved it then and whenever it comes back around to my son's school I get that same feeling of excitement. Books will always be my biggest obsession and I'm so happy that my child shares that love. Reading is an amazing, wonderful way to pass the time and I'm about to immerse myself in a couple of new stories courtesy of the September Bookcase.Club box!

If you aren't familiar, Bookcase.Club  is a monthly subscription box for lovers of literature. The cost is astoundingly affordable at $9.99 per month (plus $5 s+h) and includes two full length novels in the category of your choice: Teenage Dream (YA novels), Blind Date (Paranormal romance), Strange Worlds (sci-fi/fantasy), Thrill Seeker (suspense/thriller), Booking For Love (romance), & the Read To Me case (children's). Need extra incentive to try them out? Use coupon code Cratejoy at checkout for 10% off your first box!

This month's Teenage Dream BookCase theme is Fair Folk. Obviously, I'm going to love the selections as I have a huge weakness for fairytales and retellings.

Stray by Elissa Sussman --- Love this cover! Here's the back cover synopsis:

"Princess Aislynn has long dreamed about attending her Introduction Ball, about dancing with the handsome suitors her adviser has chosen for her, about meeting her true love and starting her happily ever after.

When the night of the ball finally arrives and Nerine Academy is awash with roses and royalty, Aislynn wants nothing more than to dance the night away, dutifully following the Path that has been laid out for her. She does not intend to stray.
But try as she might, Aislynn has never quite managed to control the magic that burns within her—magic brought on by wicked, terrible desires that threaten the Path she has vowed to take.
After all, it is wrong to want what you do not need. Isn't it?"

Thorn Jack by Katherine Harbour --- I. Actually had this book in my Amazon cart a few weeks ago and now I'm glad I didn't go ahead and buy it then! Here's the back cover synopsis:

"In the wake of her older sister's suicide, Finn Sullivan and her father move to a quaint town in upstate New York. Populated with socialites, hippies, and dramatic artists, every corner of this new place holds bright possibilities—and dark enigmas, including the devastatingly attractive Jack Fata, scion of one of the town's most powerful families.

As she begins to settle in, Finn discovers that beneath its pretty, placid surface, the town and its denizens—especially the Fata family—wield an irresistible charm and dangerous power, a tempting and terrifying blend of good and evil, magic and mystery, that holds dangerous consequences for an innocent and curious girl like Finn.
To free herself and save her beloved Jack, Finn must confront the fearsome Fata family . . . in a battle that will lead to shocking secrets about her sister's death."

This was hands down, the best month of Bookcase.Club I've received so far! These choices are right up my alley and I'm super excited to grab a cup of tea, get into my comfy chair, and crack open these magical stories!
