September 2016 Degustabox Review & Coupon

Wanna know one reason I love Fall so much? Pumpkin. Seriously, if I see anything with pumpkin in it, I must eat it. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin spice latte.... I love it all. It's just one of those quintessential Fall things that I will never get enough of. Of course, I love food in general, no matter what it is. Why else would I get so excited about food subscription boxes like Degustabox?!

Degustabox, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a culinary subscription service. The cost is $19.95 per month (which is awesome) and each box will include a mix of 10-15 surprise goodies. They are based out of Barcelona but have recently launched their box in the USA and I'm so happy they did. Want to try them for yourself? Use coupon code DEGUSTA10T at checkout for $10 off your first box!

I am always so excited when I open this box! There's an actual mountain of food in here and it's pretty freaking awesome!

The included information sheet tells you a bit about each item featured in this month's box. There's also a nice recipe on the back.

Sam Mills Corn & Quinoa Pasta --- I'm only just now getting into the Quinoa thing but it's a lot better than I ever really thought it would be. This dry pasta is made from 100% natural ingredients and is free from allergens like wheat, soy, eggs, dairy, nuts, fish and shellfish. It's also Kosher and non-GMO.

ZolliDrops --- I've had these before and they are really yummy. They were created by an 11 year old named Alina Morse and are a natural and delicious way to help stop tooth decay and dry mouth. They are sugar free, gluten free, vegan, kosher and made in the USA.

PopCORNers --- Holy freaking crap.... These are the best thing ever and I need an entire case of them... Like now! These popped corn chips are gluten free, non-GMO and vegan. They not only taste like a little piece of heaven, they also are super satisfying and have a great crunch factor. I'm obsessed.

Hak's Paks One Pot Cooking Sauce --- This is Septembers Chef Recommendation and goes along with the recipe on the information sheet. It's a Rustic Ratatoullie sauce that has ripe chunky tomatoes stewed with zucchini, carrots, garlic, and onion with a blend of herbs de Provence.

Toosum Oatmeal Bar --- I normally like this kind of thing but I must say this wasn't my favorite item this month. They are super healthy with just 100 calories, no refined sugars, gluten and GMO free and free of anything artificial. Just a bit bland for my tastes.

BustaNut --- A hilarious but odd name! They are super good though and are a perfect on the go snack. The flavors are unique and are made with top quality peanuts.

Sparkling Bitters --- Total honesty, I have yet to try this. This is a line of Sparkeling water with bitters. They are said to give the water a very distinct and refreshing taste and a very functional quality as this product has 0 calories, 0 sugar, 0 sodium, and it's all natural.

Honey Bunches of Oats --- Is there ever a time when I will be displeased with  one of my favorite cereals in a box? Nope. Don't think so!

The English Provender Co. --- Another honest moment here, I'm not sure I will be trying these. The flavors don't appeal to me personally! This company has been making small batch, traditional English recipes since 1979. I do like the packaging and they are also non-GMO, vegetarian, and gluten free.

Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins --- Oh!!!! Yummy Yummy! Another great on the go or lunchbox snack. They contain 0g trans-fat, no high fructose corn syrup and are made with real chocolate.

Michel et Augustin cookies --- Another delicious and addicting treat! They are both really beautifully made butter cookies but my favorite ones are the chocolate chip ones!

Nando's Peri-Peri Sauce --- Can't say I've ever tried this particular kind of sauce before. It's made with African bird's eye chili and a blend of lemons, garlic, onions and spices.

Another box full of old and new favorite edibles. This box really is so amazing. So much food for such a great price! Absolutely without a doubt, my new favorite food based subscription box!
