Halloween is nearly upon us, my dolls! I'm having a bit of a dilemma this year. How old is too old to Trick-or-Treat? My son is nearly 10 and I just don't know what the appropriate age to stop should be! I say one more year, but my husband says he may be to big now... It's a head scratcher! Now let's move to a subject a little less complicated... the October Birchbox!
If you are somehow unfamiliar, Birchbox is a monthly Beauty subscription service. It's one of the original pioneers of the subscription box boom and is the very first box I myself ever received. The cost is $10 per month and includes 4-5 deluxe beauty samples (and occasionally a full sized one too!).
I went for the curated Revive & Restore box this month. The spoilers were just to good to pass up!
As always, your box comes with a helpful information card that tells you a bit about each item you received.
Avene Hydrating Cream --- not really super great for my excessively oily skin right now but come winter I will absolutely be using this. It's a super nourishing face cream that restores your skins natural moisture barrier and balances hydration levels.
Oribe Gold Lust Dry Shampoo --- I love Oribe products!! I also love a good dry shampoo (they are lifesavers!). This gold standard dry shampoo instantly cleans while boosting your hairs strength and silkiness without any texture or added weight.
GlamGlow Powermud Treatment --- This is the main reason I picked the curated box this month. Who doesn't like GlamGlow? This mask features ultrarare Brazilian white clay and goes from mud to oil to detoxify, deep clean, and soften your skin. I only wish it smelled a bit better!
This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray --- I love linen sprays, especially when the smell this good! Clinically proven to help you get a good night's rest, this spray infuses lavender and chamomile to get you to sleep faster. It's lovely!
MAKE Silk Cream Lipstick in 'Magnolia' --- I love this sample packaging and oh my god is this color gorgeous! It's a long lasting and smudgeproof, antioxidant-rich lipstick that that hydrates and doubles as a lip treatment.
This is the 4th month in a row that I have really just completely adored every sample in my box. I loved the mix of makeup, skincare and Haircare products and the sizes were all pretty fabulous. I do so love my Birchbox!
