It's Christmas Eve and the chaos has officially begun. Today has been spent with the in-laws and tomorrow will be spent with my side of the family. I'm already exhausted and I can't wait until the 'mom, can I open my presents yet?' Questions end! This holiday has just been crazy and it technically hasn't even started yet. But let's just pause from the madness for a few moments and talk about the December OwlCrate!

I see Harry Potter related goodies! I already lost everything this box!

This month's theme is Epic and the included card gives you all the details about each item featured in your box. We also got this months collectible pin featuring a close up shot of the artwork on the info card.

Lord Of The Rings Book Pin --- How cute! This was designed by Jane Mount of Ideal Bookshelf. Its a beautiful pin, I just need to figure out what to pin it on!

A Darker Shade of Magic Sticker --- I love this quote and the design of this sticker (designed by Miss Phi) is really beautiful. I have this book waiting to be read on my shelf but I haven't made my way to it just yet. Maybe I can finally do that in 2017!

Harry Potter Mini Funko Vinyl Figure --- Ok, I know these are mystery figures but I'm a tad bummed that I got 'He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named'. He looks like an evil alien baby in a dress. However, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan so I will still totally be setting it out. My son confiscated it and it's now proudly displayed on his Wizard related book shelf.

Narnia Greeting Card --- created by Sosanne Draws and based upon the first book in the Narnia series, this is a beautiful card that will look lovely displayed in my home or sent off to a friend!

Dark Horse Comics GoT Coasters --- Seriously? How gorgeous are these?!! Honestly, I haven't watched GoT or read the books yet but I intend to do both when I get the chance. That fact doesn't stop me from marveling at how amazing these coasters are though. The graphics are wonderful and the coasters are thick and durable. I know a few GoT fans in my family that would love to have these but I just cannot part with their splendor...

Of Fire And Stars by Audrey Coulthurst --- I'm so very excited about this months book selection. I've been waiting on this to come out and I'm thrilled to read it! Here's the synopsis from Amazon:
"Betrothed since childhood to the prince of Mynaria, Princess Dennaleia has always known what her future holds. Her marriage will seal the alliance between Mynaria and her homeland, protecting her people from other hostile kingdoms. But Denna has a secret. She possesses an Affinity for fire—a dangerous gift for the future queen of a land where magic is forbidden.
Now Denna has to learn the ways of her new kingdom while trying to hide her growing magic. To make matters worse, she must learn to ride Mynaria’s formidable warhorses before her coronation—and her teacher is the person who intimidates her most, the prickly and unconventional Princess Amaranthine, sister of her betrothed.
When a shocking assassination leaves the kingdom reeling, Mare and Denna reluctantly join forces to search for the culprit. As the two work together, they discover there is more to one another than they thought—and soon their friendship is threatening to blossom into something more.
But with dangerous conflict brewing that makes the alliance more important than ever, acting on their feelings could be deadly. Forced to choose between their duty and their hearts, Mare and Denna must find a way to save their kingdoms—and each other."

As always, included with the book is a special note from the author to OwlCrate subscribers. Also included this month was a nice bookmark to go with it!

Another box full of glorious, fantastic wonder! I mean, honestly, there is a reason this is my favorite book related subscription service. They could s me me a book and a random shoe and I'd still probably be a happy girl (though I'd prefer that to not happen!). For me, OwlCrate is perfect and I love each box I receive. Fantastic books and crazy awesome bookish goods? Nothing makes me happier!
