I keep seeing all these commercials that are pushing the bright and bold lip trend. These commercials sadden me. Not because I don't love a hit of color, but because it's such a hard thing for me to pull off. I have a million bold shades in my makeup drawer but they very seldom get used because I'm extremely fair skinned and they just look odd on me. Oh how I wish I could rock this trend! But enough of my issues! Let's get to the November Lip Monthly bag!
Lip Monthly, who kindly sent me this package for review, is a monthly subscription service catering to beauty enthusiasts with a love of lip products. Each month subscribers receive a cosmetic bag packed with 3-4 full sized lip products and one non lip related item. The brands are fantastic and it's a steal at only $12.95 per month. Even better? Lip Monthly is offering DDG readers a special 55% off discount on their first month. Just use coupon code DIXIEDOLLS checkout!
Mica Beauty Tinted Lip Balm in 'Velvet Rose' --- I quite like this one! I like be the color and that it's a Lip pot. Its a super rich formula that feels great and the color pigmentation is pretty amazing for being a tinted balm!
Freeze 24-7 Anti-Aging Eye Serum --- I got this in another subscription some time ago and really liked it so I'm happy to have more now!
Ofra Lip Liner in 'Silk' --- I'm honestly not a huge fan of Lip Liner because my lips are already fairly full but I think they make a fantastic lip color or a base for another color. This one is super creamy so I can work with it!
Luna Lip Gloss in 'Titania' --- I don't think I've ever tried anything from this brand before so that's exciting! Its a beautiful copper, almost metallic shade and it's not super sticky at all.
I don't think this was my absolute favorite bag ever but I still like all the products and will most definitely be using them all. I think Lip Monthly is such a great beauty subscription and I have really enjoyed watching them grow over the last couple of years!
