November 2016 LitJoy Crate Review & Coupon

You all should be well aware at this point that I am obsessed with books and reading. I can't help it. Its a love I learned from my mother and its one I'm happy to have passed down to my own child. My husband, however, still doesn't get it. I picked up the new P.C. Cast novel at the store the other day and for 20 minutes, he tried to tell me why I shouldn't buy it.  See? He doesn't get it at all! Thankfully though, most of you dolls understand my love affair with books and book subscription boxes. One of my favorites to open up? LitJoy Crate!

If you aren't aware, LitJoy Crate is a monthly YA book subscription service (they offer other types of book boxes as well!). The cost is $29.99 per month (plus s+h) and subscribers will receive a new release YA novel and other bookish goodies that coordinate with the books theme.

Already, I am obsessed! I even did really well this month and resisted the spoilers! Yay me! You want one now too, don't you? Oh course you do! And if you use coupon code LITJOY10 at signup, you'll get 10% off your first box!

The November theme is Ruthless Rebellion and the included information card tell you all about the items  you received in your box.

Butterfly Flutter Notes --- Oh, pretty! These pretty translucent butterflys are sticky page markers. These are so wonderful to have if you look for talking points in a book or even just as a bookmark in general,

Metal Butterfly Hair Clip --- I adore hair clips but I actually may stash this away for my best friend. She's been a butterfly lover since we were kids and these types of hair accessories always make me think about her!

Woven Pear Constellation Socks --- I adore these! They were actually the spoiler item but I managed not to see it so I was happily surprised. The colors and constellation design would have made me giddy but there's something about having the word 'shine' and 'bright' on the bottoms that just makes these super fabulous. Cute and comfortable!

The Leaky Candle 'I Need My Space' --- Holy freakin' crap is this awesome! Look at the glitter, people!! Look at how the glitter swirls and looks like a galaxy! Ah! This is a LitJoy Crate exclusive and god I need a giant version! Its 'Jupiter Breeze' scented and it is without a doubt, one of the loveliest scents I have ever encountered.

Storiarts Coupon --- Also included this month is a 30% off coupon from Storiarts.com. They make absolutely gorgeous handmade literary themed products like scarves and gloves. I think I may use this and grab a pair of their Raven writing gloves!

The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid --- Such a gorgeous cover! This is actually on my new releases I need to buy list so I'm happy they chose it! Here's the synopsis from Amazon:

"A Diabolic is ruthless. A Diabolic is powerful. A Diabolic has a single task: Kill in order to protect the person you’ve been created for.

Nemesis is a Diabolic, a humanoid teenager created to protect a galactic senator’s daughter, Sidonia. The two have grown up side by side, but are in no way sisters. Nemesis is expected to give her life for Sidonia, and she would do so gladly. She would also take as many lives as necessary to keep Sidonia safe.

When the power-mad Emperor learns Sidonia’s father is participating in a rebellion, he summons Sidonia to the Galactic court. She is to serve as a hostage. Now, there is only one way for Nemesis to protect Sidonia. She must become her. Nemesis travels to the court disguised as Sidonia—a killing machine masquerading in a world of corrupt politicians and two-faced senators’ children. It’s a nest of vipers with threats on every side, but Nemesis must keep her true abilities a secret or risk everything.

As the Empire begins to fracture and rebellion looms closer, Nemesis learns there is something more to her than just deadly force. She finds a humanity truer than what she encounters from most humans. Amidst all the danger, action, and intrigue, her humanity just might be the thing that saves her life—and the empire.
"

As usual, there is a lovely letter from the author to LitJoy Crate subscribers. There's also a signed bookplate which always makes me super super excited!

Holy Crap did I love this box! This is my absolute favorite LitJoy Crate so far and that says slot because, honestly, they've all been pretty phenomenal. I love the book choice, I love how each item ties into it, and I love how much thought and love they put into the curation. It's such a wonderful subscription!
