You know, when you are younger and dreaming about how amazing it will be to grow up and have children of your own, there are a lot of aspects you don't think about. Take sickness, for example. Everyone in my house is currently under the weather. My 9 year old got the stomach virus Monday and I spent the better part of the night cleaning up things I would rather not clean up, my husband has a massive cold, and of course, last night I am hit with the stomach virus as well. All part of the joy of motherhood that is not listed in the brochure. Ha! At least I have my boxes to perk me up though. Today it's My Texas Market!

My Texas Market, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a Texas based artisan subscription service. The cost is $35 per month (save 10% off your first box with coupon code 10FIRST) and includes an array of products from vendors and small businesses throughout Texas. It's like the best of a southern farmers market carefully tucked into a box!

I'm seeing lots of lovely little items, as usual. I swear, this is consistently one of my favorite boxes to open.

The November box theme is A Day of Thanksgiving and the back of the card gives you all the details on the months featured items.

Garden Dreams Houston Cranapeno Jelly --- A returning favorite! This is an interesting but delicious jelly that combines the best of that traditional cranberry sauce with jalapeƱo jelly. Garden Dreams Houston crafts locally grown, chemical free, handmade preserves in small batches from fresh, high quality ingredients picked from small gardens. Its super yummy!

Stellar Gourmet Mulling Spices --- My mom always makes spice tea this time of year and I can't help but think of it when I see mulling spices. Stellar Gourmet takes pride in creating some of the best gourmet condiments in Texas using local, sustainable and organic ingredients. These spices are freshly cracked, beautifully packaged and ready to simmer for a yummy fall drink. They even included the reusable muslin bag for brewing!

Benjamin Soap Co. Pumpkin Spice Candle --- You all know how much I loved be candles, especially when they are as wonderfully aromatic as this one! Hand poured and packaged in a reusable tin, these are made from 100% non-GMO sustainable soy and pure essential oils. Benjamin Soap Co produces small batchs using plant based oils, wild-crafted herbs and nothing artificial for an eco-friendly, clean burning product. Its fantastic!

The Pecan Shop Apple Pie Pecans --- Can you say, yum!?! The Texas Native pecans are wild harvested, certified pesticide free, and sustainably grown and prepared on a three generation family farm in Texas. The only other thing on these delicious pecans are apples, local wildflower honey, and cinnamon. Delicious!

Fortitude Provisions Co. Autumn Kindling Room Spray --- Oh! More smell goods! I love it so! Handcrafted with natural essential oils, plant extracts, and coconut based emulsifiers, this is like Fall in a spray bottle! A warm and cozy blend of cedar-wood, sweet orange, baking spices, and campfire embers. Its so lovely.

This wasn't listed on the info card so it's a nice little bonus item! This little bag includes scraps of paper to pass around the table and have everyone write what they are thankful for. It's a sweet and wonderful idea, huh? I think so!

It's obvious by now that My Texas Market can really do no wrong for me. The put together such a fabulous collection of local artisanal items and you definitely don't have to be a southerner to appreciate each one. They are all kinds of fabulous and they only get better as they grow!
