Hello, my lovely Dolls! Yes, yes, I know I'm late with this one but with the holidays and not receiving a ton of my December boxes until last week, it has put me massively behind on reviews. Not to worry though! I'm going into overdrive on posting this week because January boxes are starting to roll in and I need to get my butt in gear! That being said, let's dive into one of my favorite boxes: LitJoy Crate!

If you aren't aware, LitJoy Crate is a monthly YA book subscription service (they offer other types of book boxes as well!). The cost is $29.99 per month (plus s+h) and subscribers will receive a new release YA novel and other bookish goodies that coordinate with the books theme.

As always, this box looks completely amazing. I adore books, I adore bookish items, what's not to love? Want a box for yourself? Use coupon code LITJOY10 at signup and you'll get 10% off your first box!

The December theme is By My Blade and the included card lists each item featured in your box.

Mugging! Chocolate Fudge Brownie Cake --- I love easy, individual cake mixes like this! It actually ties in to a moment in the months featured read as.well. I ate this in about .5 seconds!

2017 Mini Calendar --- Who doesn't need a new calendar right now? I love having one in my kitchen and my office so this one will be going up beside my desk. The art and inspirational quotes inside are just lovely too!

'Readers gonna read' Zipper Pouch --- LitJoy Crate teamed up with Cents of Style to make these freaking fabulous custom zipper pouch. To say that I love this would be an understatement. It's so me and it's pretty big so I'm using it to hold my reading glasses, bookmarks, a notepad and all the information cards I use for reviews! It's my new favorite bag!

The Odyssey Bookmark --- I love the designs that Rock Paper Books comes up with. Their artwork is just gorgeous every time. This Bookmark features s quote from Homer's 'The Odyssey'.

Scythe by Neal Shusterman --- This is the first time I have heard about this book but it sounds fantastic. Here's the synopsis from Amazon:
"A world with no hunger, no disease, no war, no misery: humanity has conquered all those things, and has even conquered death. Now Scythes are the only ones who can end life—and they are commanded to do so, in order to keep the size of the population under control.
Citra and Rowan are chosen to apprentice to a scythe—a role that neither wants. These teens must master the “art” of taking life, knowing that the consequence of failure could mean losing their own.
Scythe is the first novel of a thrilling new series by National Book Award–winning author Neal Shusterman in which Citra and Rowan learn that a perfect world comes only with a heavy price."

Marble Scythe Ring --- Created by Unforgettable Jules this marble ring not only looks beautiful, it ties into the book as well.

I love the look of this and that it's adjustable. You could have received either a black or white marble ring. White means you are safe from the Scythe Gleaning and black means you better say your goodbyes!

What can I say? Honestly, I'm running out of adjectives to use for this box. Wonderful, Magical, Beautidul, Special... they all fit and you don't need me to tell you about how fabulous it is when you can so plainly see it with your own eyes. LitJoy Crate is a winner and I look forward to many boxes to come!
