There are a great many occupations in this world I respect, but I hold those that serve in the military to be at the top of that list. There are numerous, courageous members of my immediate and extended family that have served and I'm proud of each and every one of them. My eldest brother served in the Army and was always one of my biggest heros, having received both a Bronze Star and A Purple Heart , so when Valor Blocks contacted me about a new U.S. Army subscription box, I had to share it!
Valor Blocks, who very kindly sent me this box for review, is a brand new, officially licensed monthly military subscription service that celebrates the personal achievement and pride of men and women in uniform, veterans and military families. As of right now, the Army Block is the only box but they are going to be launching boxes that focus on the Navy and Marine Corps as well.
There is an absolute mountain of items in this box and my son got so excited when he saw it all! The Army Valor block is $34.00 per month and includes quality U.S. Army®-themed merchandise, t-shirts, apparel, useful utility gear and limited edition collectibles to help you show your unwavering pride for our armed forces. It would also make a great care package to send to those you love that are currently serving our country.
Inside is a really well designed information card that lists each item in the March box and tells you a little about them.
U.S. Army Decal Kit --- My son is really into these. The kit comes with 11 various Army logo's and they are great to stick on your car or just about anything else!
U.S. Army Steep Beanie --- This is one of those things that everyone uses so it will get plenty of wear from both of my guys! I love the logo and the stitching too.
U.S. Army Defending Freedom Flag --- My 10 year old has already picked out a spot on his bedroom wall for this one! It's large and beautifully made.
U.S. Army Preserve The Union T-Shirt --- Each month of Valor Blocks will include an exclusive t-shirt and I love this one. The graphic is beautiful and the text reads 'The Union Must and Shall Be Preserved'.
U.S. Army Polar Fleece Tactical Gloves --- These micro fleece gloves and thick and sturdy so they will keep your hands toasty. They are fingerless as well so you have better dexterity/range of motion than you would with normal gloves.
All in all, I thought this was a pretty fantastic box! All of the items are useful too, which is a big plus in my book. No matter what you are, soldier or citizen, this box is a great way to show your love for the men and women that protect our county every day!
