I am so freaking tired of rain. As I type this out, yet another thunderstorm is raging outside. This isn't the worst year of flooding in the last decade or so, but it's still bad. Rivers at flood stage, levees breaking, power outages.... I'm tired of all this crap. Let's just cross our fingers and pray I don't get another tornado ripping of chunks of my roof like it did a few years back. I'll gladly take just rain of that mess any day. Anyways, enough about my distaste of spring weather. Let's talk about the April Valor Block.
Valor Blocks, who very kindly sent me this box for review, is a brand new, officially licensed monthly military subscription service that celebrates the personal achievement and pride of men and women in uniform, veterans and military families. This box is specially filled with Army gear but they just launched additional boxes that focus on the Navy and Marine Corps as well.
The Army Valor block is $34.00 per month and includes quality U.S. Army®-themed merchandise, t-shirts, apparel, useful utility gear and limited edition collectibles to help you show your unwavering pride for our armed forces. It would also make a great care package to send to those you love that are currently serving our country. The included information card gives you all the details on the items featured in this month's box.
Eagle Crest Challenge Coin --- So beautiful! I got a similar coin when I was a kid when we attended my brothers boot camp graduation, though that one featured the Chemical Corps branch logo. This coin features the Eagle Crest and is a Valor Blocks exclusive!
U.S. Army Coasters --- These don't really need much explanation do they. They are those thick well made coaster with the rubber bottom so they don't slip and slide all over the place.
U.S. Army Pint Glass --- Now this is nice! It's a nice size glass and I absolutely love the eagle and Army logo on either side. The detail is just beautiful on the Eagle.
U.S. Army 1775 Shirt --- My son has already stolen this for himself. The shirt in each month's box is fantastic. It's great quality too!
U.S. Army Bottle Opener --- This thing is heavy as hell. Not something we will get a lot of daily use out of but it's a great thing to have laying around for when I do need it.
I'm really, really pleased with the first few boxes so far. They manage to put some really high quality, neat, and patriotic items in each box and they are off to a great start in terms of curation, it's a fun box for everyone , but my husband and son have really enjoyed it.
