I feel like a child saying this, but I am so so very glad that summer break is nearly here. 3 months of being able to sleep in and not having to drag a very cranky child out of the bed every morning sounds like heaven. I myself am not a morning person, so I know my son gets that from me, I guess we get paid back for our own attitudes once we ourselves become the parents, huh? Anyway, we aren't here to talk about my cranky kid, we are here to talk about the March Emma & Chloe box!
Emma & Chloe, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a Monthly jewelry subscription box. For $35 per month, subscribers will receive an absolutely beautiful piece of Artisan jewelry crafted by French designers. Lovers of special, unique items will adore this because these aren't pieces you are going to find in your local, everyday shop.
I love the little information magazine that comes inside your Emma & Chloe box. It contains a letter from the editor, style tips, information about the month's designer, and more.
There's a lovely interview with the month's featured designer, Tassia Canellis. She crafted her first collection in 2007 and designs what she loves - a mix of retro style, simplicity and delicacy.
The featured piece is this lovely necklace. This design is part of the Twenties collection. It retails for $59 and is brass guilded with fine gold or silver and freshwater cultured pearls. Simple, classic and beautiful!
I love how delicate the piece was this month. It's the type of thing you can wear everywhere with anything and it will look beautiful no matter what. I love a versatile necklace like that!
