July 2017 Shelflove Crate Review & Coupon

Yay! Oh, my Dolls, I am so beyond excited about today's box! I've been looking forward to this for weeks and it has finally arrived! You all know that there is only one thing that could possibly get me this amped up. Of course, it's a book box! And today's object of my affection is a new one here on DDG - Shelflove Crate!

Shelflove Crate, who very kindly sent me this box for review, is a new monthly book subscription service. The cost is $29.99 (plus s+h) a month and "each box will include a new YA Fantasy/Sci-Fi novel and 4 or more themed-based goodies that will take you on exciting literary adventures. " Feel like trying it out for yourself? Use coupon code Welcome10 at checkout and get 10% off your first box!

I'm so freaking excited! Honestly, I haven't been this excited about a box in a few months! You Dolls know how deep my Book obsession runs.

Included in the box is an information card with a letter from the Shelflove team and s bit about the items they are featuring this month. The July box is

First Edition Tea Co. Herbal Tea --- I love First Edition Tea Co! They craft some lovely blends. This particular one is inspired by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream and is a a Ginger, Lemon, and Sage Herbal Tea.

TJ Lubrano Art Print --- I love the colors used on this art print. It reminds me of older illustrations from children's books I used to read. This one is inspired by this month's book selection and features two of the books characters - Alia and her brother.

William Shakespeare: The Complete Plays in One Sitting --- I actually used to collect these mini books when I was younger. This little pocket sized gem gives you the rundown on all the Bard's works!

Catarina Book Designs Pocket Mirror --- If you know me, you know that A Court of Mist and Fury is probably one of my favorite books in existence. The quote on this pocket mirror is from a particularly beautiful Feysand scene and I will cherish it forever.

Shelflove Crate Pillow --- Soooo..., I'm obsessed with this. I'm not even joking. I love it and cherish it and it now sits happily in my bedroom reading chair. It was designed by Shelflove Crate and features a lovely quote from Strange The Dreamer by Lani Taylor.

Ceramic Mug --- I will never have enough mugs. This one is designed by OfArts and features a rather adorable play on words from a famous line in Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Night Stars Postcard --- Designed by Night Cat, this postcard is just beautiful to look at. It also really reminds me of a scene straight out of ACOMAF. I fully intend on framing this beauty!

The Disappearances by Emily Bain Murphy --- I fully admit, I have not heard anything about this book but it sounds super original and interesting! Here's the synopsis from Goodreads:

"What if the ordinary things in life suddenly…disappeared?

Aila Quinn’s mother, Juliet, has always been a mystery: vibrant yet guarded, she keeps her secrets beyond Aila’s reach. When Juliet dies, Aila and her younger brother Miles are sent to live in Sterling, a rural town far from home--and the place where Juliet grew up.

Sterling is a place with mysteries of its own. A place where the experiences that weave life together--scents of flowers and food, reflections from mirrors and lakes, even the ability to dream--vanish every seven years.

No one knows what caused these “Disappearances,” or what will slip away next. But Sterling always suspected that Juliet Quinn was somehow responsible--and Aila must bear the brunt of their blame while she follows the chain of literary clues her mother left behind.

As the next Disappearance nears, Aila begins to unravel the dual mystery of why the Disappearances happen and who her mother truly was. One thing is clear: Sterling isn’t going to hold on to anyone's secrets for long before it starts giving them up."

We all know I love signed books/bookplates but can we talk about these endpapers? They look like they are sponge painted with gold and they are just beautiful!

Also included is a letter from the author to Shelflove Crate subscribers and a bookmark.

Hello, my new favorite subscription! I'm not joking. I've worked with over 200 different subscription services over the last few years and this box from Shelflove Crate is already skyrocketing them to the top of that very long list. I love the theme, I adore the items, and I am absolutely hooked on this box!
