So, remember how I said I got super sunburned? It's now peeling. I look like I have some sort of contagious skin disease happening. I can deal with it on my body but my nose and forehead are killing me. I'm supposed to go to run errands and this is so not helping the look I go for... alas, there is not t much I can do about it so I'll just eat some goodies from my Degustabox and make myself feel better...
Degustabox, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a culinary subscription service. The cost is $19.95 per month (which is awesome) and each box will include a mix of 10-15 surprise goodies. They are based out of Barcelona but have recently launched their box in the USA and I'm so happy they did. Want to try them for yourself? Use coupon code DEGUSTA10T at checkout for $10 off your first box!
Included is a lovely information sheet with all the details on the products you'll find in this month's box.
Entenmann's Mini Apple Pie --- Oh lord do I love these! So tasty! They are individually wrapped mini apple pies with a glaze on top. A perfect snack!
BBQ Sauce & Cilantro Lime Dressing --- I love a good brush on BBQ Sauce. This one is a thick, bold smiley spicy sauce that went fabulous with grilled ribs and pork chops!
The dressing is from a brand we've seen before and they are generally quite good. This one is their newest flavor and works great as a dressing, beach BBQ marinade, or a zesty tropical dip.
Ritz Crisp & Thins --- Can you ever go wrong with anything Ritz? These thin and crispy chips are oven baked and contain 50% less fat per serving than the leading regular fried potato chips.
Hodgson Mill Mudfin Mix & Bar --- I absolutely cannot wait to make these apple cinnamon muffins! Made with orchard-ripened apples, yummy cinnamon, and a wholesome blend of gluten free whole grain flours.
The nutrition of aincent superfoods in one little bar. They are crafted in small batches using only certified organic, plant-based, and minimally processed ingredients
Our Little Rebellion Bean Crisps --- These bean chips are made from real beans and corn, sunflower oil and a pinch of sea salt. No gluten, saturated or trans fat in these babies and they also pack 4 grams of protein!
Brooklyn Organics Craft Ginger Ale & Sir Kensington's Ketchup --- I love Giner ale! This one is a USDA Organic certified Soda that is mildly sweetened with plant based Stevia.
Ah, ketchup. A condiment I could not live without. This is said to be the only ketchup with tomatoes as the first ingredient. Ripe tomatoes, less sugar, less salt and made with non-GMO ingredients.
Julian's Recipe Waffle Thins --- My son gobbled these up before I could even taste one. Made with quinoa and a lovely lemon flavor. They got a thumbs up from my kid!
It's always such a pleasure to open up my monthly Degustabox! So many fun and healthy goodies to munch and snack on. This box is always a treat!
